The CQC sets out what ‘Inadequate’, ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ care looks like. They conduct a range of inspections and visits in addition to their regular regulation and inspection programmes. Where they find poor care, they will use their powers to take action. They use information and evidence throughout their work, including people’s views and experiences of care, they work closely with the public, other organisations, and local groups cohesively.
You can contact the CQC and provide them with information about the care you are receiving or have received, this helps them to decide when, where and what to inspect, to improve the standards of care for our Service Users.
